2011-2012 Review of the contractors CPM Schedule for the $134M Mount
Prospect I-88 Construction Project. This is a NYSDOT project that
includes work for both NYDOT and FHWA. This project is expected to be
completed in 2015. This project is the first to use Primavera Contract
Manager which reduces the amount of paperwork into paperless files. All
RFI, Estimates, and other files were sent using this system. In the
coming years this system will be linked to Primavera P6 and will track all
work within CPM Schedule. This project also used other NYSDOT systems
including Site Manager for daily reports. This project consisted of 3
miles of railway work including fiber optic controls under owners CSX. Crown
Point Bridge CPM Scheduling & Operations, Crown Point, NY. Dec 2010-2011 Review
of the Contractor's CPM Schedule for the $70M Crown Point Bridge Construction
project. This is a NYSDOT project that includes work in both NY and
Vermont, and is being performed on a very aggressive schedule due to the need
to re-open this regionally vital transportation link that was demolished in
2009 due to severe deterioration. This project developed a vast amount
of business with various client within the State of NY, NH, VT, and CT. 2009 - December 2010 Delaney Construction Company: Project
Scheduler/Assistant Project Manager/Project Manager Project Scheduler (100M RT 17 Parksville ByPass) This project is a Federal highway project in coordination with
NYS. Project consists of 13 new bridges and 5 bridge rehabs.
Duties included request to process, Request for information, various
aggregate tracking and financials, daily job logs and pictures, and P6 daily
schedule updates and submittals to New York State DOT. Completed job
breakdown for estimating for new jobs starting at Exit 106 interchange in NY
State. Was also completing project schedule for the Exit 106
interchange (NYSDOT) (10 million). Duties included weekly
schedule updates and submittals to NY State DOT. 1997-2009 US Marine
Corps: Engineer in charge; Baghdad, Japan, Germany. Project Manager(Parsons-subcontracted for Royal Saudi
Government) - New interbase $535M Highway 1 Design-Build Project, Royal Saudi
Department of Transportation, 2005 to 2007; Engineering – Drainage &
Utility Design. The New highway is a project to reconstruct 12 miles of on
base highway, interchanges and bridges from west of main Road to interchange
on another military installation. It involved the preparation of design
plans, hydraulic modeling, specifications, quantities, cost estimates for the
design-build of this 12 Mile portion of improvement. This is the first
design-build project in the Country. The entire project involves Saudi Cement
Concrete Pavement (SCCP) lanes, reinforced concrete pipe for drainage, sewage
lines, retaining walls (median and outer roads), erosion control measures,
signage, utilities relocation and traffic control. Estimator for sheet metal
piping. This project also included a new rail system for military transportation Project Manager (Parsons- Subcontracted for Royal Saudi
Government) - Saudi Arabia; 2006 5.3 million Reconstruction and widening of the existing asphalt roadway
using multiple types of concrete pavements. Reconstructed by
pulverizing the existing pavement and stabilized with cement and paved with
7-in of white-topping. The pavement also had doweled joints and was
reinforced with synthetic fibers. Both roadways receive heavy truck traffic
from the Southdown Cement plant. Estimated Sheet metal and piping Assisted with the design of the proposed storm sewer system
and prepared construction plans for -2.23 miles of roadway widening including
improvements to 29 intersecting streets, one intersecting street being a
total realignment. Plan preparation included intersection details, drainage
details, and quantity take-off. Project Engineer (CH2M Hill-Subcontracted by country of Japan)
- Camp Hanson; Japan; 2002-2004. Project involved providing services to sub-contractors for an
effective partnership and joint ventures with prime contractors. Duties
included quantity takeoff, estimating, pre-bid, project meetings, and
certifications, pre-qualification, pre-award, and post-award services. Dealt
with federal officials, and Senior Consultants. Estimated HVAC, Piping,
and sheet metal. Project Engineer (CH2m Hill, Parsons-subcontracted by German
Government); Germany – 2002 Twelve miles of urban interstate with an estimated
construction cost of $1.6 billion. Responsible for public meeting
displays, numerous reports, cost estimates, and coordination between sub
consultants. Estimated Sheet metal and piping Project Engineer - Camp Hanson; Japan; 2001 Project involved geotechnical investigation regarding a bridge
failure during construction. Also, included are the calculations, analysis,
and report writing on the cause of failure and suggestions for remediation. Design Engineer - Camp Lejeune NC; 1998 Upgrading 2.4 miles of existing from two lanes to a four lane
rural freeway with a depressed median. The improvements included preparation
of construction plans for one diamond-type interchange; two bridges; and
approximately 3.3 miles of ramps, local, and collector roads Computer
